This is nectic's first release of any kind! We initially launched at the Boston launch party in late August 2008 with the first 13 shirts. Now, we are releasing more through our partners, skreened.com, and are very excited about it.

THE CAUSE:
50% of profits from each sale (approx. $3 per shirt) goes to Child Voice International. Child Voice is an amazing non-profit (and awesome people), based, in NH.

"ChildVoice International is a global Christian non-governmental organization that restores the voices of children silenced by war by raising awareness; promoting research; and creating effective, sustainable interventions.

We work in war-torn countries with local non-government organizations to assist children of war, restoring the voices of children who have been silenced by the horrors they have experienced."

KEY ISSUES to think about for the shirts:

• imagine nations if their leaders & citizens had imagination to fight corruption and build infrastructure!
  
• we should use our imagination to solve problems and creatively fight poverty and other issues that developing countries face!
• on the shirt, the world map is turned and runs over the shoulder; think about trying ?to put the world on your shoulder and fight for social change in your unique way!
• the colors of the globe are according to the traditional designation of 1st, 2nd, and? 3rd world.
